The coming global warming
Many among us thinks that the global warming is simply the business of Science to take care and save the planet. Despite the many warnings and the awareness preached by environmental movement groups, greed, corruption and lies still devours much of the remaining tropical rain forests. We might think that there are no solutions to this issue, but regardless of these things, we must be prepared for what is coming. Indeed climate change and global warning has been prophesied long time ago by a Jewish prophet named Isaiah. He prophesied that the earth has been polluted by

Many coastal areas can be swamped by increasing sea level changes if we do not learn to preserve and conserve our environment
its inhabitants…by what means? First, he clearly pointed out that this occurs by transgression of laws, statutes and second, by breaking the everlasting covenant. The first aspect deals mainly with human causes…e.g. many of the companies which heralds good environmentalism are in fact funding many concessions and sawmills in the third world countries, the tropical rainforest are what remains of the breathing machine of the earth; aside from providing food, water and oxygen, it captures CO2 in the air, and together with the Ocean, it captures 100% of the CO2 generated by us. When the tropical rain forests are removed, we will be left with inefficient forest covers from the temperate regions which in fact do not store as much CO2 as the tropical rain forests do. The fast turn over rate of organic carbon in the tropical rain forests is the key to the burial mechanism of CO2 in many of today’s remaining rainforests.
If the scenario that marine pollution, and tropical rain forests are cut down to stubble continues, this prophecy of Isaiah will likely be fulfilled in less than 20 years. The environmental movement groups are not only there as needed check and balances but are in fact spawned by the Christian doctrine of stewardship and law of justice for all generations. The breaking of the eternal covenant mentioned by Isaiah speaks of the eternal covenant between God and men….which was broken when Adam transgressed…with this transgression, corruption of our nature continued to this day which drives this greed and evil nature of many companies in logging concession in third world countries to supply the needs of many developed countries.
The breaking of statutes and laws speaks of valid constitutional laws and agreements that many countries have signed and promised to do but few really enforces or do. Thus, the earth will be judged by fire….not surprisingly as coming from our own faults because of our failure to act on what is a legitimate concern. The movie Wall-E presents a scenario of what happens when we don’t act of a valid issue. We might end up all in a cage underground where we live on a barren and scorched planet because we failed to tend and use it sustainably.

Trees are like pores in the skin, they remove carbon dioxide from the air and cools down the planet
These issues of sustainability and environmentalism are not distant but are rather interconnected issues that needs to be addressed more in the coming days not just by governments but by the people because the government is composed of by the people and for the people acting together to prevent a disaster. Let us not stay asleep. Glory be to God!
